2017/2018 SUPPLY LIST Please have the following supplies no later thanSeptember 5th.
Please note:If you are in my 5th period split-Core class, just use my list to shop for both classes; Mrs. Peters and I have close to identical lists.
Helpful tip: This supply list is most likely the largest list you'll get (since it's for 2 academic classes). When you go shopping, use this list as your starting point, and fill in the other class items (i.e. science, math, etc.) that you'll need.
Student planner (this will be given to you on the first day of school)
Two 1 (1.5 ok!) inch 3-ring binders (history and language arts)
*One 2 pocket folder (for loose LA homework & handouts)
12 dividers with tabs (6 for LA and 6 for history)
Lined Paper (3 hole punched/loose-leaf/perforated/college rule)
At least 2 black/blue pens
At least 2 pencils /mechanical pencils
2 red pens
2 whiteboard markers
2 inch sticky notes (most students prefer 3-4 colors)
One old sock or small rag (or whiteboard eraser)
1 box of color crayons or color pencils
1 pkg. reinforcement labels (necessary for history binder)
1 glue stick
Highlighters (at least 3 colors)
1 pkg. 3X5 index cards
1 extra-fine point black permanent marker (i.e., Sharpie)
3cloth book covers (2 large/1 small)
One 3-ring 2 inch binder to keep at home (for storing completed history units)
Optional (but very helpful) supplies:
USB flash drive
*Some students opt to use an accordion binder to organize homework for all classes. This can be used in place of the pocket folder, but not in place of the binders!

Any and all donations that you can make to Room 210 will be much appreciated and certainly used! The following items will be needed during this school year:
hand wipes (to fight those classroom germs!)
Clorox cleaning wipes
cloth book covers (for the class sets)
12X18 construction paper
9X11 construction paper
colored printer paper
Cash donations are also gratefully accepted and are used to purchase supplies for the classroom. Any checks can be made payable to: Sutter Middle School/E. Henrikson. These donations are, of course, tax deductible.
